Hungry for Something Real

How well do you know your food? How often do you sit down for a meal and appreciate all the people who helped that filet, steak, or corn get to your plate? These questions have been a guiding force in my life's journey. I've been fortunate enough to get to take photos all across the United States and beyond to connect with farmers, fishermen, ranchers, and hunters. With each encounter, I've gained an intimate understanding of what good, healthy food truly looks like and the extraordinary dedication it takes to bring it to the dinner table.

Food, for me, has always been more than sustenance; it's a profound passion that runs deep in my veins. While learning about how to make sustainable choices, I became a pescatarian for several years before I was ready to begin my own hunting journey and return back to a meat infused diet. Each click of my camera shutter is a testament to the devotion and hard work that goes into each meal, reminding me to savor not just the flavors but also the stories and journeys behind the food I enjoy.
